Tell your doctor about any serious side effects such as loss of hair, swelling of the stomach, ringing in the ears, or fatigue. To prescribe Prilosec, your doctor will ask you about all other medications you use. Avoid beginning a new medication or discontinuing an existing medication without informing your doctor and receiving their consent. Prilosec may cause an allergic reaction among those who are sensitive to Prilosec/Lansoprazole. Prilosec Drug Interactions? If you want to use Prilosec, your doctor must know about all other drugs you use, including over the counter products.
